Barbara Ehrlich
Barbara Ehrlich received her MFA in Fine Art, majoring in painting, from the University of Maryland in 1968. She moved to Northern New Mexico in 1974 where she raised sheep and learned to spin wool. She started weaving with her hand spun yarns and then began experimenting with different fibers including rayon, cotton, silk and bamboo to create her beautiful handwoven garments. Barbara’s weaving is always evolving, incorporating new designs and colors for her one-of-a-kind handwoven ruanas, mobius shawls and vests.
